四川美术学院副院长郝大鹏教授作案例报告

10:30 AM in April 12, 2013, Professor Hao Dapeng who is the Vice-Chancellor of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts spoke at the forum. He introduces the reconstruction of Sichuan Academy of Art, Huxi Campus from five aspects: the relationship between university and city of Chongqing, sustainable development framework, mountain buildingsustainment, harmonious with nature landscape, and stick to ideal and poetic. He said:” the principle of working in such a land is protection. So our strategy was called ‘House of Flying DaggersAmbush on all sides’ which means blending mixing buildings into the environment. We try tried to use the villey bottoms and the land which in the bottom of campus or between the hills to build up our buildings. We pursue the idea of hiding in a valley.”

“During the construction, the first thing we should take into account is keeping the balance of art, culture, geography, policy, technology and economy. Second thing is inaction, which means protecting, controlling, and finally re-growth rather than imaging a what a kind of buildings in the beginning. Third thing is the responsibility of university. University should have social responsibility on matter on the disciplines or academic. Therefore we should explore some academic and artistic ideas on how to do the regional regeneration.
