Keynote of 2014 Institute for Public Art – Researcher Network Meeting

2014 Institute for Public Art - Researcher Network Meeting is co-organized by Fine Art College, Shanghai University and Institute for Public Art (IPA). The goals of the meeting are: to promote public art research, to build the international communication platform, and to promote the establishment of the research network for international public art experts. The main idea of the meeting are: to explore overall development trend of public art in future, to determine theme for future "International Award for Public Art", to discuss reasonable dividing map for public art research, to find the best way for cooperation and work, to realize unity of work platform and technical language, and to build first-class research and exchange network for international public art. At the same time, we wish to expand the influence of "International Award for Public Art" activities, to strengthen international exchange , to achieve pluralism and coexistence, and to promote the development of international public art.
